RIVE di FOCARA
Pinot Noir
The “CRU” of Rive. Representing the finest expression of Pinot Noir cultivated on the Focara cliff, since the 2007 harvest the Rive Monte Vineyard has been vinified separately from the other vineyards and bottled under the “Rive” label.
Although small in size, the vineyard features three areas that ripen at different times, with the western slope allowing longer ripening and producing a wine of greater structure. In exceptional vintages, this area is further subdivided, giving rise to the label “i Terrazzi di Focara.”
