I Terrazzi di Focara

The “CRUS” of Rive. From the 2007 harvest the Rive Monte Vineyard is vinified separately from the other vineyards and bottled with the label “Rive” to represent the best expression of Pinot Noir cultivated on the cliff of Focara.

Although small, the vineyard has three areas that ripen at different times; the western side allows longer ripening and produces a more structured wine.

In the great vintages this area deserves a further parcelling to produce the label “i Terrazzi di Focara”.
